Issue Details#949 Restore not accepting a:kill as action parameter

  • Priority: Normal
  • Number: 949
  • Type: Bug
  • Status: New
  • Age: 317 Days

Description

Reproduction

  1. Kill entities, such as sheep, as normal
  2. Rollback actions using /pr rb a:kill
  3. Attempt to restore actions using /pr rs a:kill

Expected: Restoration of kill actions (by killing entities) Actual: Prism // Action parameter value not recognized. Try /pr ? for help

Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/CAnM0v3.jpg - in this situation, I had rolled back a set of kills that I should not have done (the damage was manually "repaired"). I wanted to undo these sheep, but the error prevents me from doing so.

If I were to try figure out this issue, Prism can rollback a kill that was made in the server, however if you were to restore that action it would simply not work, why?

Because they are entities and the difference from blocks is they move about as they please and their location is lost, unless each entity can be tracked by an unique ID then maybe prism can use that but I'm don't really know enough about prism and how it works in that sort of detail.

  • I came across this bug also, after a new member of staff typed /pr rb a:kill t:2d this caused a huge amount of entities to spawn around the world that still exist in my server today.
